What is your favorite SF movie and why?
My favorite Sf movie is Star Wars VI - Return of the Jedi. Because of the space battle and the fight on the Endor moon.

THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK.
Real great movie, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are great in it.
Boba Fett, Yoda and Lando Calrissian first appear and they kick ass!
The Hoth battle and the Asteroid chase.
More adult STAR WARS flick.

Hhmmmmmm..... I'd have to say Predator, Aliens is probably a close second. There are so many to choose from. And yes Back to the Future is considered a sci/fi film in my book.

Aliens, Empire, and star wars are all good choices, but for me, Blade Runner is the best of the best.(I'm talking about the directors cut of course. Oh, and Dark City is another great sf.

I would have to say The Empire Strikes Back as well. I would have to pick a star wars film, even though there are lots of great non- Star Wars movies. The Empire Strikes back is the best so far.

"A.I." is not only the best science fiction movie ever made but also just the best movie ever made. It had amazing robotic effects and the incredible and dark vision of the future. Teddy was so funny. "Jurassic Park" and "The Faculty" are also great.
