Look for small local shops, maybe even a "Pawn Shop".

Some of the one's in my local area are just jack of all trades type stores that carry about everything, and sometimes make most of their money off of Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, or whatever the hell card game is popular these days.

Usually the name of the store has something to do with "Bargain".

A pawn shop is exactly what I'd suggest. That's where I sell/trade most of my DVD's. Most pawn shops I go to do 2 for 1 on DVD's but you can find a lot of great deals there usually that are worth the 2 for 1(that's where most of my Criterions have come from).

Also if you have a CD Plus near you (not sure if they them in America) the one at my mall takes used CD's and DVD's and pay pretty good cash for most of them.

Pretty much ANY used record shop that has DVD's in your area.
The infamous store credit is tempting because they do add on a couple of dollars on whatever stuff you don't want but I do need the cash ASAP so 95% I go for the dough... :(

Check out secondspin.com---theu buy videos for cash, although on the web I don't know, but here in San Diego, it is in Pacific Beach, if anyone gets here, they will buy for cash, or store credit. They also buy cd's, dvd's, and old videos.
