List as many titles that are virtual contradictions to the movies they belong to.

My votes go to HAPPINESS and FAITHFUL.

What about "Whats The Worst That Could Happen?"... THIS MOVIE!!!!

Actually, "What's the Worst That Could Happen?" WAS the worst that could happen, so it doesn't sound.

Still, we agree that it's one crappy flick.

***Spoiler Warning***

Dr. Strangelove-Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb...wait, is that irony...? Because, you know, they had to learn to love the bomb because it blew them all away at the end.

Siren, please put spoilers when you say the ending to a movie. You just told the ending to Dr. Strangelove without putting the spoiler warning.

Beautiful since the movie itself was anything but.
other titles:
Fight Club since the movie wasn't really ultimately about the fight club
Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason takes Manhattan since he doesn't even get to manhattan until the last 20 minutes and all he does is chase after the remaining survivors from the cruise ship.
Simply Irresistible since, while not exactly terrible, is certainly not irresistible.
That's all I can think of for now I'll be back later with more.

I haven't seen it either but I don't want to so it didn't bother me that he didn't post a spoiler warning...

I'll have to go with "Hideous Kinky". It's a great little movie about a young mother (Kate Winslet) and her two daughters living in 1970's Morocco, but it sounds like a weird porn flick...

The Haunting (1999) The movie was not about fear, haunting, etc. It was about bad special effects.

Funny Games by Michael Haneke.
A very disturbing movie about fear and mindless violence. definately NOT funny,
but a terrific film.
It might be a little bit hard to find in the US and Canada but well worth the try!!

I don't want to see it because I know nothing about it. I hear you guys talk about it a lot though, but I don't know what it is... Isn't it by Stanley Kubrick?

Use your imagination.
What about:

Things to do in Denver when you're dead (my favorite).

Penn and Teller get killed.

Wag the dog.

Mike are you talking about Funny Games?

The only one I can really think of (and it's not a very good example) is The Virgin Suicides. Not all of them were virgins...
