George Romero speaking in Orlando tonight.

George Romero will be speaking at the Full Sail Academy tonight at 7:00. If any of you schmoes are in Orlando I thought you might like to know this news.

i did not catch the full broadcast, I just caught a glimpse of it on the news this morning. I would guess it would be about the film industry since it is a film school. Either way it would be great to see one of the great horror icons in person.

Damn...I must meet the man who had such a profound and huge impact on my life! The world of horror changed for me when I 1st saw Night of the Living dead in the early 70's! George broke my HORROR CHERRY! :D

I hate to brag (by "hate," I mean "kind of enjoy"), but I've met George A. Romero. He's a very humble guy who seems to genuinely appreciate his fans. We didn't exchange many words, but it was still a cool experience.

Count, there is nothing wrong with bragging rights, you earned them in my book! You are correct about his genuine manor, I have a copy of "Document of the Dead". During the interview segments he comes across as extremly humble, and very pleasent. Romero discusses his problems with the distributors, on the original "Dawn" back in 78! Very cool stuff!

It's nice to know how many people out there appriciate Romero's Work!

Id like to add what I mean about the whole "Horror Cherry" thing in case anybody was wondering about what the hell I meant by that!

Up until "Night of the Living Dead" every horror movie I had seen up till then was tamer than hell! Were talking the latter 60's into the early 70's here!
