1. Artificial Intelligence- This was a thought-provoking and imaginative film! Speilberg gave it a dark and twisted style.

2. The Lost World:Jurassic Park- This film had wonder and action! The dino-attack sequences will take your breath away.

3.Jaws- This was a scary film. When I first saw it and still in my repeated viewings it keeps me on the edge of my seat.

4.Hook- This was a great fairy tale flick. The imagery was beautiful!

5.Raiders Of The Lost Ark- This was a great and fun adventure flick. The story was amazing so was Harrison Ford's performance as the crazy snake-hating playboy.

1) Schindler's List. The best film of the '90s.

2) Jaws. That movie kicks ass.

3) Close Encounters of the Third Kind. A great, daring film that really kicks ass. Completely engrossing.

4) Raiders of the Lost Ark. A great adventure movie that's still a classic.

5) Saving Private Ryan. As much as I dilike ***spoilers*** Oppum's unrealistic pussy characters, the D-Day invasion makes the story's flaws bearable.

1. Schindler's List - One of the greatest movies ever and one of the most important films ever made. Long, at times very hard to watch, melodramatic but powerful and effective on every level. May be considered by some as being 'heavy handed' but I think Spielberg really achieved in making a monumental war film that produces absolutely unadulterated flawless moments hinting at realism and the horrors of war. Fantastic writing helped even more by the great work by it's talented actors (Ralph Fiennes especially as the vile, purely evil Amon Goeth, but Liam Neeson established himself in this role of one of the greatest heroes ever with his subtle portrayal), and the heartbreaking moments really hits home, giving horrifying images of the Holocaust while at the same time, move you tremendously with it's sheer artistry along with a dark, dramatic tone and a brutal message.....and the ending is simply heartbreaking, shedding thousands of honest tears around the world. I love this film to death. - 10/10

For me, Speilberg is REALLY hit and miss. I HATED Schindler's List, Amistad, Jurassic Park 2 and A.I.
Saving Private Ryan was good, but WAY overrated.
I personally think he's a good director, but far from great.

Shindler's List is without a doubt his masterpiece. Just not my kind of entertainment. I can't wait until the DVD comes out though. The first time I saw it was on TV, cried like a baby at the end.
