LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - In the wake of such recent undead box office breakouts as "28 Days Later" and "Dawn of the Dead," Lions Gate Films is fast-tracking its own zombie picture, "Flight of the Dead," for a September start date, sources said.

"Flight" follows the tale of two zombies being shipped back to their homeland after they are captured. But when the deadly creatures come unexpectedly to life aboard an airplane, the begin to wreak high-altitude havoc. No director is on board "Flight."

This sounds like it may wind up being incredibly cheesy if not done right. Zombies on an airplane?

It has to be a very big plane because I don't see how this movie can be interesting...

It'll probably suck, but it's a zombie movie so that alone makes me the least bit interested. Hopefully it will be better than the premise suggests.

I really don't understand. So, the biggest find in the realm of science, and the greatest threat to mankind (not to mention the greatest weapon) is:

1) Not either destroyed, or kept for scientific study?

and

2) They are sending it on American Airlines Flight 102?
