Seriously though, even if The Terminator would to dream (and we all know machines can't) then I would say that Freddy's ass would indeed be handed to him. No offense to my favourite horror icon, but I can't see Freddy winning in that fight.

This fight would take place in the real world...

See, something happens, some unforeseeable event when one of the terminators go back in time. When he returns to his time he sees skynet has almost completely been obliterated. It still survives, but it is almost extinct. Some evil force now rules the world by unleashing a portion of hell unto the earth. Lets say in like 2007, somehow freddy was dragged out of the dream world again, did some devilish stuff, opened a hell hole, and took earth over. Now, whats left of skynet, says to themselves..."Hey, connor can wait, if we dont get rid of this freddy guy, we wont exist either, and he is a huge threat, so lets send our now boys to kill him, hmm, those new TX-ELE mother fuckers" So they send a TX-ELE to go back to kill freddy. But, it becomes a case where "whoever wins, the humans still loose" so whats left of the humans, send back a cyborg of thier own (NH-16, a model designed to look like kyle reese as a homeage) since enemies are weak when they are preoccupied.

So now you got a terminator hunting freddy in 2007, and you got a NH-16 hunting down both of them. Ok, bye...

Okay his is assinine, i mean how do you figure Freddy Krueger will fight the Terminator is sheer stupidity, not to be disrespectful, but it is, now i would sill like to see Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash, but that seems unlikely for right now.

I think these v.s. ideas sounded cool at first (who wasn't pumped about FVJ?) but now I think they're just an excuse to squeeze a little more money out a dying franchise.
