"A funny thing happened while watching Harry Potter..."

I saw "Harry Potter" on a Saturday at 3:00, in a crowded theater that was more than half-filled with children. What surprised me afterwards was when I realized that during the film I had not heard one sound from any of the children, except for the occasional "Excuse me" when someone had to leave their seats which rare. I've seen other "kid's" movies with my young niece and nephews and I don't recall the audience being so quiet and enrapt with the movie that they showed what I consider to be the proper movie-going attitude. If the studios can make movies like "Harry Potter" which can so capture todays's children's imagination, then I say go for it.

I actually went to an adult-only showing of Hairy Pot-ass, so there was thankfully no cries from children there!

Same thing in my theater..The only sound I heard was from a little boy when Fluffy the dog attacked the three kids...

I saw it on the first showing Saturday (Nov. 24) at 11:00 a.m. and it was pretty damn crowded. But, people were good for the most part. Everyone seemed to like and for the first time ever when I was in a movie theater a few people even clapped.

Well, he's going into puberty by the end of the film, so I thought he'd be getting hairy and start smoking the weed.
