Future of Aliens and Predators Riding on Alien vs Predator Movie

20th Century Fox is putting all its hope in the two franchises on this film. If it does good, Fox has stated that it will kill the other two franchises and go with AvP for the rest of the foreseeable future. If AvP bombs at the box office, they'll most likely split the franchise again and continue with Predator 3 and Alien 5.
Had anyone heard this? If AVP does bombm i hope they'll get of their asses and make a GOOD Alien 5. If it doesn't, may God help them 'cause they wouldn't last more than 3 AVP movies.

Alien should just die already, the franchise should of quit at 2 movies.

Alien Vs. Predator success shouldnt determine Predators future. I want a Predator 3 above all. Predator 2 kinda suck, but the ending preluded to a huge arrival of predators.

Yes, they need to stop making Alien movies.... like now!, but Predator needs one more movie ... maybe have the Predators hunting Samurai or Predator hunting soldiers during World War II.

An even more important reason for me not to go see the thing.

And to all the people praying this film will bomb - try not spending any of your money on the thing. Thats a start.
