And yes you guessed it, the rating is for Kill Bill v2. I don't think I have ever seen a 100% rating before. I CAN"T FUCKING WAIT!!!

That's only out of 15 reviews so far. Give it time; "Eternal Sunshine" had a 100 for a while, before all the reviews were in.

Red Rock West is also 100% fresh. There's only like 16 reviews though.

Gigli probably had 100% at one point too, back when Earl Dittman was the only quoted reviewer. ;)
Seriously though, I'm friggin' excited for this movie. I hope the 100% stays, but it won't because at least one douchebag critic can't wait to be the one who hated it.

Heh, 20 seconds after I wrote that, I checked the site and there are now 2 negative reviews out of 21 total, bringing it down to 90%.
"The thrill has been completely abandoned in Volume 2, which trades its buckets of crimson blood for pages of dry dialogue that bring us nowhere new"
-- Sean O'Connell, FILMCRITIC.COM
"Those with indomitable patience may find some reward in the final half hour of Vol. 2."
-- Jeremiah Kipp, FILMCRITIC.COM
(funny, that's how I felt about LOTR: ROTK ;))

THE MOVIE DOESN'T HAVE BUCKETS OF BLOOD?!
YOU MEAN IT ACTUALLY STOPS TO DEVELOP THE CHARACTERS?!

All critics, or just the ones that disagree with your opinion? They're only human. There's gonna be a chance that some of them disagree with us. At the end of the day, we're just a different form of movie critic, the difference is that we don't get paid for our opinions. Well.. and we still have our souls.

No, their opinions are just plain stupid.
They didn't like the movie because it wasn't action-packed and Tarantino tried to add some drama and development to it?
I haven't seen the flick yet, so I can't have a full opinion on it, but lemme tell you, if what those dumbarse critics wrote is worthy of being published, then I should be a critic.

I don't care if "Rotten Tomatoes" gives it 100% ... I don't care if all the critics hated it ... the only thing I care about is if I will like!
can't wait to see this movie ...I just can't fucking WAIT!!!!!

How is this possible, i know everybody here and every other movie site love these kill bill movies but i thought v1 was one of the worst movies i have ever seen. For all the hype the two got i expected a whole lot more, and got nothing. Uma who? I've kept quite about this, but a 100% rating for a mediocre movie with the worst director, producer, writer, whatever QT is , is just an outrage.
I'll say what everybody really want's to say.
QT is over rated, and boring.

Well, none of QT's movies have ever bored me and, if anything, his works like Jackie Brown are underrated.
So, no, that isn't what I really wanted to say.

I never wanted to say that ... but I will say "Pulp Fiction", Reservior Dogs", "Jackie Brown" and "Kill Bill" are fucking great.
If you for some weird reason want to think that they are "Overrated" .. well good for you but I don't really care what you think.

I wouldn't go so far as to call Tarantino a bad director... or even overrated. I like his movies ("Pulp Fiction" and "Kill Bill"; haven't seen the rest). He has a keen eye and a good taste for certain aspects of his movies (style, wacky dialogue and funky music). Sure, it's not for everybody's tastes, but the fans seem to like them... a lot! And I include myself in that group.
I'll go see Kill Bill 2 when it opens here.

Um... as part of "everybody," I'll speak for myself thank you. I'm sorry you don't enjoy his movies. Personally, I think they're fantastic. Res. Dogs is now one of my favorite movies of all time.
But I think part of your problem is you think QT is some kind of pretensious, artsy director or something? If so, dude, his main career was as a video store clerk. I've seen "Clerks," so I know how noble that job is. He spent his life just enjoying movies, so in his films he had one single goal: to make a movie that's fun to watch. Period. It worked with RD, Pulp Fiction, and I think Jackie Brown and kill bill I.
If you don't enjoy his films, sorry. That's your opinion and personal preference. But as one of millions of totally normal people who absolutly get a kick out of his movies, I ask that you reconsider before making wild, insulting generalizations.

I thought Reservoir Dogs was a cool movie. Defentley nowhere near one of my favorites though. What I do know is Quentin Tarantino is anything but boring. *Spoiler* Who else would of thought of some guy pouring gasoline on a cop while listening to Stealers Wheel "Stuck in the Middle With You". *End Spolier*
Pulp Fiction is also one of my all time favorite movies. If you found parts of Pulp Fiction boring, yeah I can understand that. The whole movie though. No way.

I think QT is a solid director. THe first movie I saw of his was Pulp Fiction, which I was a bit disappointed with the first time around...it was good, just maybe not what i was expecting (i gave it 7/10)
After watching Reservoir Dogs however, i have to admit that he's very good director (or at least writer)...that was an AMAZING film, one of my favorites now...
and kill bill Vol 1 i wasn't a huge fan of at first, but it's one of those movies which seems to get better on repeat viewings; i'm now looking forward to part 2 very much.

Kill Bill Volume 2 is still fresh but it's been bumped down to an 85%.
It's beating Kill Bill Volume 1 by 1%.

Whoa, a little touchy there?
They didn't like the movie because they didn't like the movie. So not everyone shares your fanatical love of these films. I'm sure the universe will survive.
