Whoo! Another Spielberg/Hanks movie!
The trailer seems more like a TV spot though and is way too short. I really have no idea what the plot is besides the "Tom Hanks comes from a foreign country and lives in an airport!".

It failed to leave any kind of impression on me. Normally I'm really excited for a Steven Spielberg film especially one with Hanks. But the trailer/teaser/commercial didn't make think I HAVE to see it! It doesn't look bad either though. Like I said, it didn't really leave any kind of impression on me.

It was short, barely a teaser, but it looks cool. I'll see pretty much everything that's directed by Spielberg

Don't let the teaser get to you though, I remember the trailer for Minority Report looked dull but that film is classic, imo.
I accually loved what i saw, not in the sense of a complelling teaser, but in the sense that the scenes that were compiled looked damn good.

Well actually I loved the teasers and trailer for Minority Report but don't worry. I still want to see it and I still think it will be nothing less than very good. I think Spielberg is incapable of making a bad movie!

looks good. Nothing great of course, but maybe an interesting movie to watch. Tom Hanks looks like he didn't really need to do the part though. Seems like someone else that maybe is european could have easily fit in. There was one brilliant shot that kept in my head from the teaser which was the reflecion of Hank's face on top of the suit manican in the window. Idk, its nothing special i guess, but its that type of stuff that makes speilberg great.

Lucas is the one holding Indiana Jones IV up. They were planning on starting production this summer until he vetoed the script.

Looks nice. Sort of a standard film, but nice.

All joking aside, The Terminal actually does remind me of Cast Away. Tom Hanks getting trapped on an island (obviously not a literal island for The Terminal).
I'll also bet Tom Hanks screams said volleyball's name really loudly when it gets kicked onto an airplane.

Look to the upper right as the man shaving leans over at the end of the trailer. Is that a camera?

I just looked at it, and idk if its a camera, but it almost looks like a screening monitor. Or maybe its his jacket 'hanged up' with a patch or whatever on it. Could be anything.

Anyone else notice that Hanks has now pushed Richard Dreyfuss in a tie for the most projects a single actor has done with Spielberg? Both have been in three Spielberg pictures and that says alot cause he is known for getting a wide variety of actors.
(Harrison Ford doesn't count - he plays the same character in all three Indy adventures)

Sweet!
I'd see anything by Spielberg. And Hanks. It doesn't look as brilliant as Minority Report, but it will definitely be great.

I just saw the full trailer on ET and it's much better. It looks really interesting and I can't wait to see it.
But even if it looked horrible I'd still see it just because I'd see anything by Spielberg, Hanks and Zeta-Jones!

Looks like your typical Spielberg sentimental movie. Which means that I'll likely give it a 10/10.
I love Hanks in the bathroom with the other guy at the trailer's end. That alone sold it for me.

Reminds me too much of CMIYC. Which I didn't like. Plus I despise Hanks. But it is Spielberg, so I'll give it a chance.

The real story had to have been more interesting than this sentimental claptrap of a film . Damn , it souunded like a cool idea for a film until they went into happy feel good studio mode , oh god , it is going to be horrendous , but it looks like the safe , cliched , boring film people flock too .
I'll stick with Subway and Jet Lag to get my stranded stranger falls in love in an airport or other transportation hub fix , man it just looks sickening .

Well, I don't think every film has to be 100% groundbreaking. I think Spielberg earned the right to make two feel good films after Minority Report and A.I.
