The first film was B-Grade fun and this looks like it'll be fun too, probably even moreso. It has some damn good effects going for it, and the trailer looks promising. That scene with the snake swimming under them is a good trailer money shot.

Can you really say no to a sequal to Anaconda? Esspecially when its called Anacondas?!?! Think Aliens people!

I smell a hell of a video life.

The original is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. It's so bad I love it & watch it whenver it comes on.

Have you ever noticed that the makers of these killer giant snake flicks (most straight to video & shown on Sci Fi channel) always feel the need to make the snakes let out loud screeching noises? The nit-picky nature geek in me finds that very amusing.

Yeah, the trailer for this movie was a blast. It definitely doesn't look like a work of art, but it looks fun, and I think I'll see it.

I agree with the screeching thing too. What the crap? But meh, still looks like fun.

On an unrelated note- Woo! 100 posts. Today I become a man. I know it's not a huge deal, but it feels good.

The inner cheesy movie lover in me wants to see it. Not because it looks exciting or even very interesting, but out of curiousity. You already know what the name of the porn version will be, like "Anaconda: The Cunt for the Bloody Bush"

This actually looks kinda decent. That overhead shot of them walking in the water with the snakes slithering by them under neath the water is creepy as shit.

That line alone should automatically serve as your warning for this movie.

This actually looks kind of nifty. I wasn't a big fan of the original, but that shot of the snake underwater was better than most of the snake FX in Anaconda, so I'll give it a chance. Plus, the guy who hums the Jaws theme reminds me of one of my friends.

The original was ridiculous, and this one's Cradle of Life-esque storyline sounds even worse. I smell a Razzie contender.

But at least there's no Jon Voight.

I don't think any of us are saying that it looks like any kind of cinematic art, or even a remotely well-made movie. But as cheap, bad movies go, this looks to me like one that would be fun to watch, rather than unbearable.

Ah yes, the pluralizing of the sequel title... very popular.

I wonder how many big snakes are going to be in this one.

The trailer was surprisingly not half-bad, but the movie is probably going to suck.

When Boyz N' The Hood came out, Cuba and Morris had great potential. One went to win an Oscar. One went to wrestle snakes.
