Not that many movies in May

It's kind of surprising how few movies are coming out in May. There are only 8 movies getting wide release in the month of May, compared with 18(!) wide release movies in April.
I guess this is because a few of them are big, blockbuster-type movies (VAN HELSING, TROY, SHREK 2), and the studios figured why try to compete with the movies everyone will be seeing. Still, it averages out to only 2 movies per week, which isn't much at all.

yeah, and only two limited ones of in interest. saved! (***) and coffee and cigarettes.
but out of those 8 van helsing, troy, shrek, day after tomorrow should all rule our asses at the box office, so its all good. plus the theatre have been REALLY crowded as of late, so this is good
