It's okay. But i'd rather look at this one than something OVERdone so simple is can sometimes work good.

I like the original teaser poster better.

Wow, tough crowd.
I think it kicks ass, but I've been excited about this movie for a while. The classic Asimov book is god-like, so hopefully they don't fuck it up too bad. And apparently unlike a lot of the crowd around here, I like Will Smith, so I'll definitely see this one.

You know what I love about that poster? It's very average and bland. It's nothing special.

I think a white background would have been more effective and would have more accurately matched the trailer's aesthetic. Hopefully this somewhat understated poster is an indication that the film is darker and thematically heavier than its trailer implies.

i like it, but the black background is over done.
THey should have made it metallic or something

If you put that poster against a black background it looks cool as hell.

I saw the trailer for this last night at Man On Fire and it looks really good although I think they show too much.

Its a nice work with the i
Its at least half creative unlike most posters that just plant a few faces and blurbs.

I think it would be better though if all the robots, except for one, were NOT looking at him.

I wonder if hell make a song for this movie? And that is a pretty slick poster atleast Will isnt just staring into the camera like those face posters.
My idea for a poster would be a group of robots standing in a huge line and the robot in the middle would have something over its eyes so it makes it look like he was watching you walk by.

Poster's okay. I might check it out on DVD when it gets released...not in the theatre, though.

Ok, just saw the new trailer. Is it just me or the trailer really gives the Matrixy feeling? I mean, the first scene, the motor chasing scene, and the music. And the whole idea of machine killing people.

Funny you mention that. The story of this movie is fairly similar to 2 Animatrix shorts. "The Second Renociassance(spelling?) Part 1 and 2". "I, Robot" though, was based off a book which was made before these shorts were I beilive.
Also Alex Proyas directed a movie a year before "The Matrix" called "Dark City". Which people felt they had similarities. So it doesn't suprise me another of Proyas's movies seem to be compared to "The Matrix" again.

I like the poster, and the new trailer's pretty cool, even though it plays more like a teaser than a full trailer

the new trailer is great! i didn't much like the last two trailers, but this one really did it for me - it portrayed the dark sort of tone that i was hoping for in this film...got shivers down my spine...NOW i want to see this film because the robots don't look stupid in this preview either! (The way they cut it in the other trailers made the robots seem laughable)
i like simplistic neat posters, but i'm not a fan of this poster. it doesn't really represent much. if the i was in the shape of a robot it'd make more sense but this really means nothing. it's the outline of an i with a random picture of will smith in the middle (with a bit of a glimpse of the robots)...nothing iconic. it's not bad, just not great. i'd give it a 5/10 if i was rating it.
