Jaws Vs. Free Willy

Think about it. This is obviously the next logical step in the progression of the currently popular "Vs." horror movies. Tell me as a kid you didn't wonder who would win if that blubbery, free spirited Orca and that finned, flesh-munching fish were to square off in an underwater bloodbath (literally). Willy's got the weight factor and the tenacity, but ol' Bruce has those jaws of death and a penchant for delicious mammal meat, so my money would be on Jaws. Oh yeah. He'd fuck Willy up. BIG TIME. That whale won't be jumping over rocks when that shark gets done with him, no-sirree-Bob. Willy got NO GAME.

Man, I don't know where I get these ideas. It's like a gift. It's like....I can't control it.

The problem is that Keiko, the whale who played Willy, died last year. No one could replace him. :rolleyes:

Well Killer Whales have been known to be able to kill white sharks. But since this is the pussified Willy, I'd have to say that JAWS would win this one. :)

Willy would call out to the rest of his crew (see: pod). And together they would rip apart that lil sharky. Then they would go after a blue whale :rolleyes:

not even the genetically enhanced sharks from deep blue sea could take jaws, much less willie... the only thing that could stand a shot would be the alligator from alligator... but seeings how one is fresh water and one is salt water... jaws is definately king of its territory.....

Dead Halloween has established a possible subtitle for the film. Here are ideas for other subtitles:

- Kill Willy: Volume 1 and Kill Willy: Volume 2, because let's face it: an epic battle on this grand a scale cannot be contained within the confines of one film.

- Big Fish....Killing Each Other

- Good Whale Hunting

Also, a plot twist should occur near the end in which guest star Flipper shows up to help Willy defeat the dastardly shark. The two undersea mammals will join forces to quell Bruce's underwater terrorism campaign.

Man, the ideas just keep rollin' in from the tide of my mind, pardon the pun.

"Piranha"...Now this is a great flick, with one of my favorite actors. The late great Bradford Dillman! JAWS ceratainly had an impact on the genre at the time, no disputing that as a fact! Anyone remember a forgotten flick called Barracuda? How about Tentacles?

Obviously you Gen-Y youngns have forgotten the classic 1977 film "Orca The Killer Whale". For shame!

It was The Punisher with fins. The titular Killer Whale's wife and unborn child were killed by greedy thoughtless people looking to make a quick buck - and the whale sought out for cold, clean REVENGE!

Willy could never beat Jaws, because he didn't have the ruthless taste for vengeance that ORCA did.
