Which one is the best and has the most special features...There are so many out there...and I know a place that has like 4 different dvd versions of it....Ive always wanted that one on DVD and Im just now getting around to it...thought I would ask u guys and gals which one is the best....and does anyone know if I should wait for a special edition that is coming out...a newer better version....it seems like Night of the living Dead and Halloween keep coming with more and more special editions and Evil Dead is working its way up there so should I wait or do you have a version in mind that kicks ass...

if you can play region 2's, ive heard the best release at the moment is the 4 disc box set with all 3 films, if its just the first film your talking about i think the Book of the Dead is meant to be the best
you could always look on a dvd comparison site to find the best

The book of the dead edition would be the best. It has an awesome cover and is loaded with bonus material: Two commentaries, trailers, tv spots, behind the scenes stills, a couple of documentaries and more.

But the Book of the Dead is in the wrong aspect ratio. You get the same extras with the R2 box set, and it also includes the original full frame version of the movie.

Yeah that sucks. I thought I remember reading somewhere that Sam Raimi actually prefers that aspect ratio.
