Indiana Jones: Temple of Doom 9/10
Fright Night 8/10
Summer School 7/10
A Nightmare on Elm Street 8/10 (Best Horror movie ever IMO)

There are to many "others" to list.

Damn I didn't see the "others" option so I voted for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom which is still great. Had I seen the option I would have voted for The Goonies.

80's flicks are certainly enjoyable and have a trashy feel to them. . .
Lost Boys 7/10
Indiana Jones: Temple of Doom 8/10
Fright Night 6/10
A Nightmare on Elm Street 9/10 (HAS to be the best)
The list above is okay, especially The Lost Boys and Fright Night. There are so many others that I loved more, though. The other two Indiana Jones flicks were both in the 80's, and they were both much better. (Raiders 8/10, Last Crusade, 9/10). Both The Empire Strikes Back(10/10) and
Return Of The Jedi(10/20) were 80's releases, as was Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan. For teen movies, there were films such as The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles. Batman was released in the 80's as well. And there are other hits such as Back To The Future and its sequels. I could go on for hours on end, but these stand out.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (8/10) is the only one on your list that I really like.

Off the list A Nightmare on Elm Street is my fav but overall my favorite from the 80's is Evil Dead II.If you like The Lost Boys and Fright Night you check out Near Dark another awsome vampire flick from the 80's.

Favorite 80's movie is an impossible question. I would have to say my personal fav. would be either John Carptender's "They Live" or "Roadhouse". Just something about Patrick Swayze kicking ass and taking names just puts a big smile on my face. Same with Rodey Rodey Piper.

My favorite 80s movie is Stand By Me. It's the childhood story that no one ever had but everyone wanted.

The movies everyone posted are other favs of mine. I love 80's films, but the ones I listed stood out for me. And it is impossible to pick a fav from that time.
Police Academy
Caddyshack
Spaceballs
Goonies
Vibes
Batman
The list just won't stop.
