I picked up this card today at a record shop I usually go to and it says the "Movieside Film Festival" will be held at Chicago's Biograph Theatre from May 14-16. The guest of honor will be George Romero (!) the nights of the 15th and 16th. There will be a 9:30 pm screening of the zombie classic Night of the Living Dead as well as the Misfits' Scream video, which was also directed by Romero. Friday May 14 will have guest Jack Hill and show Spider Baby at 8 pm and the Pam Grier film Coffy at midnight. I hope to make it one of those nights Romero is present. My buddies from the House of Monsters will have a table set up there, too.
