did anyone get the ending to Godsend

im serious too it didnt make fuckin sense. well, for me it didnt can someone please tell me what the hell happened?

The ending was simple. Towards the end, when Greg saved Rebecca from getting axed by their at-the-time-possessed-by-Zachery son, they break the Zack's barrier and bring back their son's conscience. So 6 months later, after the boy got treatment from a doctor or something, they move to a new location. Upon moving in the boy suspects something behind the closet in his room. He's sees nothing at first, but then the Zachery's spirit broke loose from the boy's conscience and took over (thus, the figure pulling the boy into the closet; the boy got out of the closet a moment later). So, the father comes back and there is his son. But, his son is not who he think's he is anymore...Zachery's back! His reign of terror is not over! So, that's the ending. It's cheap, but it does make sense. You're welcome.

Some of the DNA used to clone Adam (Cameron Bright) turns out to have come from the long-dead son of Dr. Richard Wells (Robert De Niro). Wells secretly used that DNA in the procedure, leading to Adam's terrible night terrors and hallucinations as he remembers some of the terrible things that Wells' son did. Wells is found out and manages to escape to do more damage somewhere else in America. Adam and his parents (Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, Greg Kinnear) relocate to another city to begin their life anew. Adam seems to still be haunted by the night terrors.
