Make your cast for this type of Batman movie

If this has been done before, I apologize. Me and a few friends were talking about the new Batman movie, and were very excited of course. But, we started talking about the animated series, and their movies. This lead into a discussion about "Batman: Beyond." So, here's the question I pose to you all. If they made a Batman: Beyond movie, who would you cast? Here's the main cast you have to cast:

Terry McGinnis/Batman: Beyond

Older and Wiser Bruce Wayne

Derek Powers/Blight

Commissioner Barbara Gordon

This was rumoured a few years back. I remember it being mentioned on TV that Keanu Reeves was set to be Batman and Clint Eastwood would have been the older Bruce Wayne. I was all for Eastwood being Wayne, but A. Plankwood as Bats? :rolleyes:

Anyway, this is what I'd do, from what I remember of the TV show.

Terry McGinnis/Batman- Christian Bale, (I have no imagination, so sue me) :D

Older Bruce Wayne- Clint Eastwood

Derek Powers/Blight- Willem Dafoe, (or that is before he was in Spider-Man.)

Commisioner Barbara Gordon- Rosemary Harris

Eastwood is a great choice, but it will never, ever happen. He was offered a part in Batman Begins, and he said no. He´s never gonna accept a part in a movie based in a comic-book or animation.


Batman: I like the "One Tree Hill" guy, no idea his name.

Bruce Wayne: A lot of good choices here; Paul Newman, Charlton Heston, Chistopher Lambert, Malcolm McDowell without the accent.

Blight: Elias Koteas (Give someday this man an important part in an important movie, he is superb)

Gordon: Debra Winger

Older and Wiser Bruce Wayne: Adam West (:D)

Derek Powers/Blight: Malcolm McDowell

For Terry, a younger Batman, I'd probably go with Edward Furlong

For an older Bruce Wayne, Either Sam Elliot or Harrison Ford

For Blight, Gary oldman or Micheal Keaton(who can be a major badass if he wanted to be)

And for Commishioner Barb Gordon, Drew Barrymore, just cuz.
