The theatrical dates will be followed, of course, by DVD releases by AB UK, no doubt with the company's usual heaping helping of extras (which may well hit in advance of the U.S. disc debuts of some titlesÑLions Gate isn't planning to unleash UNDEAD Stateside until 2005).And if that isn't enough to wet the appetites of all-region-player owners everywhere, also coming down the line from AB UK are an eight-disc (!) HALLOWEEN boxed set, a PHANTASM box and a Wes Craven box with films to be announced.

Seeing as this one's an Anchor Bay UK box set, I expect most or all of the previously-Anchor Bay UK-released Craven films to be included (Last House On The Left, Hills Have Eyes, Hills Have Eyes 2).

The JC one I own. It has: The Thing CE, They Live, Prince of darkness and village of the damned

Scully's right on what the Wes Craven has = and at Deepdiscount it's only like 21 to 23 dollars at the most. With my fondess for box sets may snatch it up eventually

PHANTASM BOX SET?!! Tell me more! Tell me more!!!

Is this a re-vamp of the old 'mediocre' trilogy box set that came out about 4 years ago?!! It included PHANTASM, PHANTASM 2 and PHANTASM 3. It had ok extras, but nothing to really excite die hard fans. Hence why I bought the US SPECIAL EDITION of the original, and stuck to me vhs copies of the other 3.

Nah, it'll be different.

The previous UK Phantasm boxset was released by Digital Entertainment Ltd. You're right, it was nothing to write home about.

This new one'll be Anchor Bay though, so it should be generally better quality with, knowing Anchor Bay, (hopefully) at least a commentary.
