The Scream Channel to vie with The Horror Channel

So American genre fiends will have a pair of horror channels to choose from. I can't complain, but it does seem like The Scream Channel will be less fan-oriented than The Horror Channel. For one, they haven't gone out of their way to inform their niche market of this venture. And Dark Castle doesn't exactly give me ghoulbumps. We'll just have to wait and see if this will be worth watching or if it will turn out to be as exhilarating as The Sci-fi Channel.

Do they mention how these channels will be available? Because I don't have comcast or satelite.

I was grateful for it until they axed their best programs. They are but a joke now. I'm sure it's less vexing for sci-fi die-hards, but I have zero interest in their current schedule.

I used to have the Scream channel but stopped paying for it since all they showed were shit movies. When it first came on the air there was good stuff but at the time when I got rid of it they didn't play a good movie for about 5 weeks.

I might get it back again if they start playing decent ones.

All I know is that Scream is available through digital and I'm not sure if foreign countries can get it.

They now seem to have more advertisers and have atleast 4 new movies a week. If you go to this page there is an alphabetical listing of all the films they have now. You can even check out some of their tv shows and documentaries. I think last month they introduced Videodrome and Bride of Chucky to their library.

I agree, they suck at promoting themselves. I only took the chance on ordering it because it costs 2 bucks on its own and 7 bucks with showcase action, showcase diva, the independent film channel and the CBC documentary channel. I've definitly got my moneys worth so far with all the movies I've taped.
