Hey everyone out there! I was wondering if anyone out there has seen Mirror Mirror 4: Reflections, which is exclusive to the Mirror Mirror Collection being put out by Anchor Bay Entertainment. I'm interesting in the boxset for the sole purpose of the original and the fourth. I hate the second and third with a passion but the fourth one looked pretty intriguing. I was just wondering if it was worth the time because this will be the deciding reason for me to buy the boxset or leave it sitting on the shelf to collect dust.

Well... uh, somebody's got to say SOMETHING.
Um.... depending on the cost, this is worth the buy. For me, my mentality is that I will never see the fourth movie if I don't get the box set. However, if it costs over thirty I'd take a brown shit on this one right in the store. The series isn't that good.
What is the fourth one about?

Well, I decided to pick up the boxset. I got it for $22 at Best Buy which is cool.
I watched Mirror Mirror IV: Reflections and it was alright, but there was SO much missed potential in it. However, the character of Joey should have died quickly. His character is VERY annoying with his rhymes and his annoying voice/behavior. Good thing the demon ripped off his penis (off screen, though). But his character should have been replaced with the Countess right from the start. Sure, the character of Mel was also annoying but she was at least tolerable and took breaks between her bitchy rants. The acting overall ranges from decent to sub par. Thank god for Kim Mai Guest playing Annika, though, otherwise the film would probably be quite tepid. Also, some of the kills were lackluster like Jack's death. It was cool to see him levitating and thrown around, but when he hits a wall he just vanishes. It was irritating that the characters do not seem to grasp onto the situation right away that something is quite wrong. I mean, they realize it but they ignore it most of the time. Some of the CGI effects, like the snake tongue the fake Mel sprouts when licking , were pretty bad too. The camera guy also really needs to learn how to hold a camera still just a little better. Plus, the film had a "madness maze" to its' full potential but barely uses it! Come on! I could understand why some exhibits were ignored but they should have at least used the killer clown room! But for what the film was, it was definitely a HUGE improvement over Mirror Mirror III (*shudders*) so it's worth at least one look despite how mediocre it is at times.
Of course, Mirror Mirror III: The Voyeur is as bad as it ever was. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
However, I re-watched Mirror Mirror II: Raven Dance and found it really wasn't that bad. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. My only complaint was the band getting killed in the beginning when electricuted. Come on! They should have at least been screaming and should have been shaking and writhing as volts went into their bodies. But that's really my only true qualm with that film now.
And obviously I enjoyed the first one, otherwise why would I have bothered with the other entries in this series at all?
