Who's the best action hero out of the two?

Damon may be the original seven stone weakling but he did a creditable job in The Bourne Identity whereas Asslick's Jack Ryan was just woeful in my view.

Matt Damon is a very good actor. Just watch The Talented Mr. Ripley, great performance. Ben Affleck, is a bad actor, and never gave a "breath taking" or surprising performance.

Both are awesome but I gave the edge to Damon. I think he's the better actor.

I actually like Affleck, he can be a solid actor giving the right script (Chasing Amy, Changing Lanes, etc.), but I give the edge to Damon. Affleck seems like a cooler guy though.

My vote goes to Matt Damon. He seems more capable of deep, witty performances and looks more kick-ass in action flicks. However, I liked Affleck in Dogma, Chasing Amy and Paycheck...so props to him too ;)

The only time I really cared for Ben's roles was in Dogma, maybe Good Will Hunting. Even in Dogma, I had big problems with his character. Matt, meanwhile, has been great in everything he has done - I didn't like Bourne Identity, but that is not necessarily his fault. I went with Matt.

Action hero? I don't know...but The Talented Mr. Ripley (9/10) features Damon giving one of the best performances I have ever seen...truly disturbing...

I also think that Matt is a better action hero than Ben. Damon brought a quiet, convincing intensity to the character of Jason Bourne. I believed that the guy could kick ass. When Ben plays an action hero, he has the looks, but lacks the intensity.

I always get the impression that Ben would prefer to sit on a bar and hit on chicks instead of being a tormented and determined guy with nothing to lose.

Damon. As far as I can tell, he chooses a lot of interesting projects to work on, while Affleck just chooses different ways to primp or cry like a baby.

I think both are very talented and when they team up together they can make magic happen ex. GOOD WILL HUNTING(my favorite movie of all time) I like Ben and think he is a good actor but only in supporting roles. Damon on the other hand is truly amazing and i think very underrated as an actor. i cant wait for his next great role to come and finally win him an acting oscar

Looking back at what i just said i realized i never really adressed the fact of who is a better action hero. I dont think that it is either of there forte but if it comes down to it i think that damon is better. with the bourne indentity he created a new kind of action hero who can fight but was also smart. Affleck can only do the typical action hero thing of yelling and cursing. I pray to god that they dont make a Daredevil 2
