I Saw This Movie. If You Like Martin Lawrence, Its His Show. He Just Goofs Around Like Normal. Putting It In A Midevil Setting Was Just To Make It Different From His Other Movies, Well Where He Basically Goofs Around. Some Of The Scenes Were Funny. If You Want A Movie Where You Really Don't Have To Think, And Have A Few Laughs, See Black Knight.

I thought Bad Boys was alright, but his show stunk. I think I'll watch a matinee instead of going full price.

I thought it was an OK movie although I preferred watching Whoopi Goldberg's Knight In A Camelot.

I thought the trailer was terrible too. Although I've never found "dorky white guys" saying things like "that was tight" the least bit funny. But if you think the man is funny, all his movies are the same thing so you might like it. I heard somewhere, I think actually the Joblo news section, that Martin's next movie will make him $20 million dollars. That is not good.

Black Knight 5/10...

Black Knight is a moronic comedy that just isn't funny. The problem is Lawrence, asking him to carry a film is a waste of time. I'm not a Lawrence basher, because I liked him in stuff like Nothing to Lose and Bad Boys. There he was along side Tim Robbins and Will Smith, and quite frankly both are better, funnier films. What is the deal with the fish out of water comedy plot...it just is a bad idea...a foul and loud mouthed brother sent back to medieval England, come on!! Oh and what is the usual storyline that our hero stumbles upon...a sadistic, corrupt King trying to ally with another country before the rebels can overthrow/assassinate him...please its been done before in countless films like these...It did have an interesting ending though...was it a dream, are there different incarnations of ourselves in different times...oh but unfortunately get ready for a sequel!! The Black Gladiator!! You'll know what I mean, if you see it.

That seems so terrible. The previews weren't even almost funny. Martin Lawrence is just not Eddie Murphy (as he seems to think he is).
