Why do they keep putting QT's name on those volumes twice?

Yeah, that does look kind of silly. I wasn't a fan of the first dvd art either; somebody should get fired.
I'll hold out for the special edition box set thing. I love these movies, but I want to wait and buy something I'll be totally happy with.

To warn people that they will be purchasing a horrible movie.

I'll definitely pick this up, even though i know I'll just end up getting the sexy DVD of both films put together into one movie...ahh, won't that be one of the greatest films ever? IMO, yes...

I think they should have used the poster attached below for the cover art. It's a perfect contrast to the Vol. 1 art.

Even though I was planning to wait for the boxset, I might get this just to check out the David Carradine/Michael Jai White deleted scene.

I'm gonna wait for a box set as well. Hopefully they'll release one soon after. August is a lot faster for it's release than I thought it would be.

At least watch a movie before you say anything about it. So don't post your thoughts on this until you actually watch the movie. Bye.

Apart from the fact that poster is shite, both Volumes are completely different. I think the cover art fits the mood.

I'll be purchasing this as soon as it's released. I'll be getting the boxset when it comes out as well. I don't have the patience (sp?) to wait for the boxset to have KBV2.

I wanna see the box set... not buying anything before that, cuz I'll just want that one too. Hope the cover art is as cool as the single editions... thought they did a great job with both.

here are specs from DVDfile.com
Quentin Tarantino's bloody, bravura ode to Asian chop socky films concludes in Kill Bill Vol. 2, which will make its DVD debut on August 10th. Although Tarantino is planning a mega-set of both films for release sometime in the future, for now Buena Vista Home Entertainment will give the flick a fairly slim edition, complete with anamorphic widescreen transfer, Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 tracks, "The Making of Kill Bill Vol. 2" featurette, premiere party footage, deleted scenes and trailers. Retail will list for $29.95.
