i was looking at DVDanswers and it has cases for this movie Triggermen and Whole 10 Yards... 10 Yards is in a snapper case... Triggermen is in an Amaray. Same with like Starsky And Hutch and Big Bounce are in Amarays. And i remember Torgue was originally in a (CR)(sn)apper but they changed it to an Amaray.

So why do they release some titles in Snappers and some in Amarays??

Are they getting off the snappers.. and maybe they decided to release 10 Yards in a snapper so for people who buy both 9 Yards and 10 Yards.. it wont look messed up on the shelf??

Just wondering if anyone knows the criteria for which movies get which case over at Warners? thanx

I dunno. I was surprised (and pleased) when the Last Samurai got an Amray.

Now I can keep it without fear of it becoming damaged, as it is protected by hard plastic, rather than a this piece of cardboard.:D

At first I thought it was based on movies that did well and movies that did poorly. But now I don't know. My gut is telling me that they will change them before the release.

I think for 2-discers and SEs.

I heard they are slowly phasing out of it, so that might be the case.

I definitely hope so. The cardboard cases piss me off. They look dumb, they have crappy durability, and most importantly, they don't fit smoothly on the shelf next to regular dvds. These cases should have been gone years ago.
