Which Eyed Wide Shut DVD?

I've noticed that there are two different EWS DVDs available...the one with the white cover and the one with the purple cover...which is the better one?

To my knowledge, they are exactly the same. The one with the white cover is just the re-release to make it fit in to the Kubrick Collection.

I'd probably pick the one that has the "Stanley Kubrick Collection" the white one. Who knows, that version may be taken out of print someday. :D

I picked up the white one and yeah, I thin it's just a different cover. whatever though...fits in with my other Kubrick DVDs...and god, what an amazing film...

Yes...and seeing as how Kubrick did everything he could to get each theatrical cut exactly the way he wanted to, and he died a few days after handing in the final cut of this one, I know that there will not be a Director's Cut ever....but I have heard news of a special edition (over at Rotten Tomatoes), but I don't give a shit...

Maybe it was a special edition and not a directors cut my bad...but i am pretty sure i read somewhere that theres some other sort of edition of the film coming out this year. I'll try and find out where i read it and post a link peace
