Fox Home Entertainment have let us know the release date for The Girl Next Door which stars Elisha Cuthbert as a former porn star that moves next door to a lusting teenager. Yeah, like that's ever going to happen! The film will be available in seperate rated and unrated editions from the 24th August this year. I'm afraid we have no further details on either disc at this stage, but as soon as the disc is officially announced, we'll let you know. Stay tuned for that.

Decent flick... ill be pickin up the unrated cut... lord hoping Cuthbert gets in naked in it.. she is fuckin fine!

Fox Home Entertainment has officially announced The Girl Next Door which stars Elisha Cuthbert as a former porn star that moves next door to a lusting teenager. Yeah, like that's ever going to happen! The film will be available in seperate rated and unrated editions from the 24th August this year, priced at $27.98 a piece. As for technical specs, you can expect both discs to carry 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen presentations and Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks. The only extras on the rated edition will include an audio commentary by director Luke Greenfield and a Trivia Track. The unrated edition will carry both of these, in addition to the following features: a Scene Specific Commentary by Emile Hirsch, a Scene Specific Commentary by Elisha Cuthbert, The Eli XXXperience Featurette, "A Look Next Door" Making of Featurette, Gag Reel, 16 Sexy Deleted or Extended Scenes, including original ending with an optional Director's Commentary, Stills Gallery, Girl Next Door Trailer "Dirrty" too racey to show on TV, Upcoming Theatrical Trailers and one easter egg. You can also expect the unrated disc to be 'packed with steamy added scenes'. I'm afraid we don't have the artwork yet, but we hope to bring you that shortly. Stay tuned.

i thought the cover for the unrated version was horrible at first but then i looked closer and i'm thinking that it's probably just a slip that they put over the cover to show it's the unrated version...i think the full cover is probably the same as the other one.

if the "Unrated Version" huge ass block is part of the cover, then the cover sucks ass. almost as bad as the one for eternal sunshine. actually scratch that, NOTHING can be worse than the cover they have for eternal sun.

But sweet anyway, i can't wait to pick this up! Great flick.
