Here's a little I found also.

A 9-disc set is slated for region 4.

Special Features:

Extended version of Reloaded – 1 hour of additional footage
All new documentaries
All new commentaries
All new HD film transfers
Amazing amounts of new content
Matrix (3 discs), Reloaded (3 discs), Revolutions (2 discs), Animatrix
Lots more!

Found HERE (http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/227483)

I would consider this a rumor for now. From The Digital Bits.

As far as I've heard, this is just the integration of the Enter the Matrix footage into the movie, so don't get too excited everyone.

I always thought they should integrate the Enter the Matrix footage with white rabbits--you know, you can either watch the normal version or click on the white rabbit in the corner of the screen to see a scene from ETM where it is appropriate...

Not interested. I already got all three movies on DVD and don't love the Matrix series enough to get this one. NOW, if they released a special edition of just the original Matrix like they were going to a year back or so as i recall, i'd get that one.

Anyone know when they are planning to release this? If it's not for awhile I'll probably just buy all 4 of the Matrix films again.

I miss them.

I'll just repeat my post from the Matrix board on here...

Hmmm. I could buy 9 discs.

or just buy the matrix and forget that the sequels ever happened.

yes, i think i prefer option 2.

Well yes. But doing a bit of maths, 14 hours of those are going to be on two movies i didn't like.

Its not really much of an inducement.

Sadly, this is the type of box set that Star Wars should be getting.

Lets just hpe Lucas doesnt put anything in his will when he dies to stop that from ahppening. Because im sure as soon as his dead, everything and anything original star wars will be let out of the bag.

I own all three already and to be honest, if they released a box set/SE versions of the movies, I would only re-buy the first. Hopefully we can get an SE version of the first (maybe a two/three disc set) that's not in a FUCK'N snapper case. WB sux ass!

REALLY ? Is this true, Slim_JGE, JCPhoenix, and HeavyK? I think the first Matrix DVD looks great, it just has a little too much edge enhancement, but its not something that most people would even notice, unless watching it on a pretty big screen.....
I havent noticed anybody around here bashing the PQ on it

Not sure what you mean, but HD-DVDs are still a long ways away....

There is no way I'd buy the box set. I have all three already and don't like them enough to warrant another purchase.

actually, to be honest, the reason why i want an SE is quite a small reason. i don't really want to get one of those huge gift set types of dealies cause they're pretty expensive, but i absolutely HATE snapper cases. The only time i've ever bought a dvd with a snapper case is for Shawshank, just cuz that's one of my absolute favorite movies, but i've pretty much refused to buy snapper case movies in hopes that they'll be re-released eventually in normal amaray cases (and since Warner seems to slowly be changing to amaray cases, there's no reason it won't happen for some of the movies i still need to add to my collection - north by northwest, l.a. confidential, ocean's 11, dark city, pleasantville, etc, etc. in fact, they already re-issued JFK the 2 disc snapper case version into a "box" style case so i bought that right away as soon as it came out as a non-snapper case).

so i'd like one of the regular sort of 2 disc SEs that come out that are not really cheap but not crazy expensive like those gift sets usually are.

and when i first heard of the SE that Solid Snake posted there (with the picture too) it was several months ago, and that was around the point where i decided to wait for an SE, only they cancelled it so i figured it was going to happen after reloaded and revolutions came out. so now i hope they release something like that for the first film. or re-issue the current dvd in an amaray case. i know it seems like a really small picky detail, but it's one of my strongest pet peeves.

Well, i have a big Tv so its pretty noticable! Its not on HD-DVD's (or is it :P) but the films are in Hd quality like one of those T-2 editions. Except this you will be able to tell alot more then the t-2 which and which isnt HD.

if this gets a region 1 or 2 release ill get it, i havent got any of the current discs in the hopes of a better set, although another hour on reloaded seems a bit excessive, it was too long to begin with

Plus, you'll have that fucking rabbit popping up on the screen. I hate when movies have something pop up onscreen so you can go to alternate angles or whatnot. I watched a porno that had this and it totally ruined my .... uh.... viewing pleasure. :p
