What is your favourite Tim Burton film? I think Sleepy Hollow, Ed Wood and Nightmare before Christmas however he didnīt direct Nightmare. What do you think guys?

My favorite is BATMAN RETURNS. It's wicked, it has great dialogue, and it's pure Tim Burton. The directing is very good. The cast is one of the best ever assembled (Michael Keaton, Michelle Pfeiffer, Danny DeVito, Christopher Walken) and the music and action are both excellent.
MARS ATTACKS! is a close second for me.

I would also have to say BATMAN RETURNS, it really is what Tim Burton is all about, in my opinion.
1. Ed Wood
2. edward scissorhands
3. Batman
4. batman returns
5. nightmare before xmas
6. sleepy hollow
7. beetlejuice
what did I forget?
It would have to be Edward Scissorhands....one of the most emotional films i have ever seen, pure Tim Burton quirkiness and Danny Elfman's superior music all add up to one of the greatest fantasy films ever made.

There is a three way tie between:
Batman ****1/2
Beetle Juice ****1/2
and
Ed Wood ****1/2
I love all three films more than his others, Edward Scissorhands comes in a close fourth.

Edward Scissorhands & Ed Wood are his best films for me. Nightmare before Christmas is class but I can't really add it if he didn't direct it can I? Sleepy Hollow & Vincent are great too!!! Batman Returns was as well!!!
