I say,

is there anything greater on this earth than a three hundred lb black alto with a mini-afro belting out "Tomorrow Is a Long Time"?!?!?!?

No, Schmoes.. there is not..

This album was released in 65' and covers both their best days.
The lady, with the biggest voice I've EVER heard in my life (she was trained as an opera singer and somehow got her way into folkways) arranging and singing all of the man's songs, backed by an extra guitar and double bass.

The reharmonizations are all VERY fresh, Odetta's voice is motherfucking beautiful. Reallly, a must have for Dylan fans.

Baby, I'm In The Mood For You
Long Ago, Far Away*
Don't Think Twice, It's All Right
Tomorrow Is A Long Time
Masters Of War
Walkin' Down The Line
The Times They Are A-Changin'
With God On Our Side
Long Time Gone
Mr. Tambourine Man

*I do believe Bob never released this on a legit album..

The great part about this thing is that she somehow manages to tackle that reallly sinister, seedy vibe that Dylan had going on through his earlier work. . the Tambourine Man leaves a little to be desired, though.. :\
