Halloween Timeline

ok ive rattled my brains, and watched every Halloween movie (excludeing 3) and i have made a timeline that ties every single one of the movies together. but im not gonna put dates, because i dont know the dates. and o ya there may be spoilers....

Michael Myers kills his sister

Michael is locked up.

Michaels other sister, Laurie, is adopted.

Michael escapes.

Michael Kills several people on Halloween night.

Michael is nearly burnt alive, and is sent into a coma.

Laurie gives birth to two kids- a boy and a girl.

Laurie fakes her own death, and takes her little boy into hiding with her and leaves her daughter to be adopted.

Michael awakens from his coma after hearing he has a neice, Jamie.

Michael kills a bunch of people on Halloween night, 10 years after his orginal massacre, trieing to get to Jamie.

Michael is blasted down a shaft.

Michaels neice attacks her step-sister.

Michaels neice is put in mental care.

Michael is taken care of by a hermit

Michael returns one year after he attempted to kill his neice, and tries again.

Michael and his neice are kidnapped by the "man in black".

Michael impregnates his neice.

Michaels neice gives birth to a son.

Michael finaly suceeds in murdering Jamie.

Tommy, a boy who survived the original Myers Massacre, and Michaels doctor, Dr.Loomis find Jamies son.

Michael Kills a bunch of people trieing to get to the child.

the "man in black" 's cult kidnaps the child and takes him to a hospital. they also take Lauries Cousin (thru her adopted family) and her son.

Tommy and Loomis track them down.

Michael turns on the cult and murders them all.

Tommy, Lauries Cousin, her son, and the baby all escape. Loomis goes inside to "take care of some unfinished buisness". it can only be assumed that michael killed him.

Tommy and the Baby succesfully go into hiding.

Michael tracks down his sister.

20 years after the original massacre, Michael tracks down his sister and nephew. he kills a few people.

Laurie kills someone she thinks is Michael.

Laurie is locked up in a mental hospital.

Michael tracks her down, and kills her.

Michael then returns to his home, only to find a bunch of people putting on a live internet show in his house.

Michael kills some people in his house.

a rapper takes down michael useing stupid one liners, and rediculous kung fu moves.

Michael is thought dead and brought to the mourge.

Michael awakens........

ok so thats it.......what do you guys think?.....did i leave anything out? i know its very detailed but im doing this all from memory.....i didnt take notes or look up names or anything......and i forgot some of the names.....

I would never have the patience to watch all the Halloween movies over again to make this list because nearly all of them are horrible and boring, but you got it down.

The ending in the producers cut of H6 is better. It would have required more Donald Pleasance in the future though...:(

The only two probelms with the timeline are that Jamie attacked her foster mom, not her step-sister. I don't think Laurie had Jamie and Tom at the same time. Parts 4,5,6 are supposed to be ignored in the 7,8 storyline so jamie isn't supposed to exist, but if it makes any one feel better maybe Laurie could have got knocked up soon after the halloween incident because halloween 4 is supposed to be ten years later and Jamie appears to be 9 or 10 and Laurie could have been ashamed and paranoid that Michael was still alive. So out of fear for her life and embarrassment she faked her death and went under the witness protection service. A few years later she got married and feeling guilty about leaving Jamie behind, she had a kid, John. The incidents in Halloween 4,5,6 were kept very secretive to avoid panic of the people so laurie still thought he was dead for twenty years.

Halloween 4-6 incidents being kept under wraps by the witness protection service? I've thought of similar ways to correct the storyline myself. I figured that up to Halloween 6, the man in black was constantly covering up Michael's tracks, so nobody had an record on him or any of the Halloween-ish incidents.

I also figured that Laurie had Jamie and John at the same time. By H20, 1998, John was 17, so he had have been born in 1981. And, Jamie was 8 or 9 in H4, 1988, so she was a older than John by 1 or 2 years.

In H4, October 1988, apparently, Jamie had not seen her mother for 11 months (September 1987). It is inferred that Laurie is "dead" (or according to H20, faked her death). I figure that Laurie was really getting paranoid about Michael coming back in 1987 that September so, she faked her death, and got herself and her family involved in the protection. However, she lost Jamie in the process and may have thought she was dead. And according to her mother's "car accident," Jamie would think that her mother is dead. And, that's where the storyline separates into two.

Another factor is how Jamie fails to acknowledge her brother and how John fails to acknowledge his sister. I figure, just as another schmoe has, that John, being as young as he was forgot about his sister. Laurie would have been so ashamed over losing her, she wouldn't have reminded him of her. She would have been so ashamed of it that she would have fatefully kept it to herself forever. She doesn't even tell that counsilor in H20 about it when she spills her guts over her true identity.

There's also Jamie. She never does speak of John. I suppose she was more bothered by her mother's death in the "car accident" than her brothers and kept him to herself. It's not like her family is brought much in H4-6 anyway.

Now, this, had Moustapha Akkad followed this path but isn't would have have set up "Halloween 9" perfectly. After the events of "H: Resurrection," John, upon mourning over his mother's death, finds a secret journal of hers...and finds out about his sister. He learns that his mother lost her when she faked her death, that he forgot about her being so young, etc. He would also learn that Laurie find out that Jamie didn't die upon faking her death. That she lived, that Michael went after her, and eventually got her...and that now she would never get to see her again. Laurie, even more ashamed, would naturally keep this to herself and get even more paranoid about Michael upon H20.

All right, so John realizes his mother's paranoia...and vows to stop Michael once and for all. He goes back to Haddonfield to rid of his evil Uncle once and for all. He's not alone. He teams up with Tommy Doyle. John, having heard about Tommy's struggles with the boogeyman, asks him for his help and Tommy does so gladly. Tommy would have stayed with Kara Strode from H6. Around H6, Kara Strode was Pyschology student and single mother of a son, Danny, about 10. Together, Kara and Tommy parented Danny, Michael's son, Stephen...and a new child of their own.

So, John and Tommy go hunting for the boogeyman. And the boogeyman hunts them too, playing mindgames with them...while killing innocent Haddonfield residents that get in his and Tommy and John's way. John and Tommy also run in to Lindsay Wallace, the girl being babysat in the original film. She'd be grown up and fucked up just like Tommy was in H6. They'd take refuge in her house in Haddonfield, while Kara kept the kids safe in another house in neighborhood.

That's what I hoped Moustapha Akkad would do with H9, but it doesn't look like he's going through with it. He's trying to come up with new storyline after new storyline after new fucking storyline after then next. He messed up the storyline and refuses to acknowlege his mistakes. Alas, the potential that could have been H9 may never happen.
