Anyone else enjoy the weirods known as Primus? Les Claypool is a badass on bass. His vocals are strange at times, but for the most part, he can "rock the track" lol.

My fav. songs are "Too Many Puppies", "My Name is Mud", "Mr. Krinkle", and Winonna's Big Brown Beaver."

I fucking love Primus and all of Claypool's work. If you haven't, check out the new Primus, Animals Should Not Try to Act Like People. It's an ep of new songs plus a dvd with ALL of the videos and some extras. The new songs definitely have more of a smoother Pork Soda vibe than the more commercial direction that they took with Antipop. I like it alot!

I'm wayy less impressed with Claypool's basswork then I used to be.. the guy's PHENOMENAL, but a lot of it just seems like acrobatics.

They are a verrry cool band, though. Outrageous, funny stuff... kinda reminds me of Frank Zappa.

I watched the dvd of all their songs. I must say, I was very impressed with the "Mr. Krinkle" video. That was like one shot that lasted around 5 minutes.

Great band by the way. I saw them live and they did a master of puppets cover and it kicked the shit out of metallica's.

I have to agree with you there, i love Primus, there sound and style is very original not to mention cool and eccentric to the extreme which is always cool to have.

I enjoy Primus as well. My favorite album is "Antipop". I enjoyed all of the awesome guest appearances. Tom Morello rocked on "Electric Uncle Sam". Other songs from that album that are cool are "Natural Joe" and the title track.
