Let me start by saying I gave this movie a 6/10 for some enjoyable funny moments. But I Dont think it was all that great at all .

The dialog stupid, violence very redundant and laughable, the scenes didnt seem like they were in the right order, the hospital scene was perverted and sick imo.

I mean how many rainfalls of blood and cut off limbs can you see before it gets old and stupid.

The Pussy Wagon was funny, I like the first fight scene, the Asian cafe scene was funny also.

Overall I thought this movie was a redundant, jumble of scenes that didnt make any scense at all.

You can criticize me all you, but I wont change my mind.

Um, even though I disagree I must point out that

the scenes didnt seem like they were in the right order,

the scenes are not in any certain order, so youre correct.

I thought the scenes were good out of sequence.

because if vernita's bit would have gone at the end, it would have been as boring as the end of volume 2.

Poopy, are you a fan of Quentin Tarintino's (the director) work (Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Jackie Brown...)? If you aren't, I can see why you don't like KB too much. This is one of those movies where you have to be familiar with the director's style of filmmaking, and that's definitely a plus or negative with QT. He is very stylish in his own ways, that no other filmmaker can immitate. KB is sort of a love-it-or-hate-it movie.

I think more movies should contain this kinda off-the-wall gore and violence with plenty o severed limbs and gallons o blood! It makes for some GREAT times! ;)

i thought it worked great out of order, i didnt realise that until this thread, but there ya go

anyway, i think there should be more films like this that arent scared to show some over the top violence, slicing and gore

I really liked it. The anime scene clinched it for me. It was one of the best anime scenes I've ever seen.

You know he was a bit scared because he wouldn't show it in color

Yes I like Tarintinos other works. Especialy Pulp Fiction. I know his style pretty down pat, I just didnt find KB all that impressive.

Its not that I didnt know the scenes were supposed to be out of order, It just kinda lost momentum imo.

I think Tarantino didn't want to make a great movie, so you may be on to something.

You and me both. They are watchable movies, they even have rewatch value. But they are far away from the perfection that has been claimed in some quarters IMO.

Bowel-ing is overrated.

I prefer billiards.

And I was underwhelmed by KB. Also thought it wasn't horrible, but was definitely not great.

Out of curiousity, did you see Volume 2 poopy? Cause it doesn't feature most of the stuff you really disliked about Volume 1, like the OOT gore

That scene was absolutely fantastic. One of the few highlights in an otherwise, rather average movie.

7/10 (generously, even though I was originally considering a 6)

I haven't seen Vol. II, however I will be checking it out eventually.

Kill Bill: Volume 2 is a masterpiece.

Volume 1 is a bit redundant, I know, but it's still pretty good.

Volume 2 blows it out of the water. I was heartbroken when some people didn't like it because it wasn't all action (Imagine that...A Tarantino film with DIALOGUE?! SINCE WHEN?!).

I absolutely loved both Kill Bill films (combined rating of 10/10)...I can't wait to get the DVD for the whole Kill Bill...
