While there are other villians I'd rather see (Venom), Sandman would be cool.

Sandman would be a great on screen visual character as well as Venom.

Yeah, they should get that old wrestler The Sandman to play him, hell they look exactly like each other, it's almost uncanny.

havent you seen or heard. thomas haden church is signed on for spidey 3, and of course judging by how he looks, he'll definetely be the sandman. he has an uncanny resemblence. i dont know how to post of pic here, but you can just go to yahooo and type his name to see what he looks like.

Sandman would make a great visual character as many have already stated, in fact I wouldn't mind seeing him in the third movie though I believe the character will be nothing more than a "2nd-rate" villain than the actual main bad guy. Still, he'd look great and another real test for "Spidey".

Has it actually been confirmed that Thomas Haden Church will indeed play the Sandman? I know theres been some rumours that we'd be playing the Chameleon (bad choice IMO) but I'm not sure if anything has been confirmed yet. I'd love for him to play the Sandman, he does, as you said, have an uncanny resemblence to the character.
