This was fairly popular and it was recently released on DVD - but I CANNNNOTTTT find it. One of my favorite directors, Richard Franklin, was at the helm and it looks like it could be cool..

I found this on DVD at wal mart a while ago for real cheap. It's a pretty good movie, better than I expected it would be. The directing is very good and the monkey gives a good performance (lol). It's a little slow but always interesting and towards the end there's a lot of action.

Richard Franklin? That rings a bell--what else did he do?
The way you spelled out "cannot" was funny, considering the film was released by the infamous Cannon Group. Lol...
