I personally was impressed with the werewolf FX in the otherwise mediocre Van Helsing. Seeing as how this new Potter film has a werewolf in it I may finally see a Harry Potter movie. Anybody care to tell me how the FX for the wolfen one are?

The effects are great. But some people don't like the design because it's too "skinny" and it's not really hairy.

But I really liked the design and though the transformation effects were amazing.

Effects wise there wasn't anything wrong with it IMO, but it looked more like a dog than a werewolf to me.

Which is an improvement on Van Helsing because the werewolf in that flick looked like a 4 year old's crayon drawing.

The effects are good, a little too CGI at times though. The desing of the werewolf...I didn't like. It looked more like a human with a dog's head and it wasn't scary, it was supposed to be scary. It's not terrible, just not great.
