I have heard talk of a lot of people, including John McCain (which excites me) Who would you like to see as the VP candidate?

I'm not sure. I think I'd like to see John Edwards on the ticket. A young optomistic face just might do some good.

I'd like to see John Edwards or Wesley Clark on the ticket. Both guys I have a lot of faith in and people who can bring votes. Someone I'd like to see but who'd never be picked: Hillary Clinton. I think you also have to look to the future and beyond Kerry being elected president (hypothetically speaking) and pick someone who can carry the torch on for the democrats.

John McCain kicks ass, but I really don't see him being Kerry's VP. Also, Hilary needs to be kept as far away from the presidency as possible.

I think it'll probably be John Edwards or something.

McCain swears he won't run.

Clinton won't do it unless she can be President.

Edwards is too novice.

Clark is a republican who says he's a democrat

Kucinich is too short, and would probably eat the plants in the rose garden.

Sharpton would be really, really cool, but he's crazy.

Dean would be awesome, and my favorite choice, but it just won't happen.

I think Kerry and Nader should join together. This will be the only way Nader is going to have a shot at the presidency, and it will finally tear down the bipartison walls in Washington.

I think picking Edwards would be a huge mistake for Kerry's campaign.

The primaries exposed him for what he is, a small town country boy with almost zero political experience. His Southern charm may have won him a few votes in the primaries, but Bush-Cheney would chew him up.

CNN quoted an AP source who said that last weekend, Kerry officially asked John McCain to be his running mate, but that McCain flat out rejected it.

Edwards really sucks. Did any of you guys that want him actually see any of his speeches in the primaries? Truly awful speaker.

He may have to pick Edwards though, because polls suggest that with Edwards on the ticket, Kerry's numbers rise sharply in the South, and believe it or not, polls also show the Democrat could win Edwards' home state of North Carolina - a Republican state.

Honestly, I don't think he's the best choice for a vice president, but his popularity in the south could win Kerry the election, and that's all I care about. It'd be next to impossible for me to stand another four years of Bush.
