I'm moving this topic to the general forum since it really doesn't have much to do with past horror films.

1.) Cannibal The Musical - This movie oozes with wit and and the absurd musical numbers are so catchy and fun. I love how even the evil trappers and hostile indians are just as nice as ever. The reverend that sings "Let's build a snowman" cracks me up with his over the top niceness. Great fun!
2.) American Movie - A documentary based on a grown man who makes movies that still has to live at home with his parents. He has no money, 3 kids to support, a family that is apprehensive about his "vision", and he;s based in a little podunk town in WIsconsin. Truly hilarious moments unfold with his desperate attempts to make his short film "Coven" aided by his drug addled musician friend "Mike Shank." Such a funny and sincere movie.
3.) The Fearless Vampire Killers - This movie by Polanski is so odd and perfect to me. The characterization is phenomenal and the mix of comedy and horror is excellent. Beautiful locations and cinematography and a great soundtrack!
4.) T2 - Arnold is a badass!
5.) Dead Man - Johhny Depp stars as travelling accountant looking for work in the old west. He gets in trouble along the way, and soon there's a bounty on his head. His indian friend "Nobody" helps him along the way offering wisdon and advice. Great characters and story. It's quite odd, but very cool! Also stars Lance Henriksen as a bounty hunter, and WIlliam Hurt among others.
6.) Alien and Aliens - no explanation needed
7.) Return of the Living Dead - pure excellence
8.) Empire Strikes Back - ditto
9.) Logan's Run - Jenny Agutter at her finest!
10.) Raiders of the Lost Ark - duh!
I could list about 50 others I rank up there as well, but these are my most beloved.
Zing!
