I thought that IT had one of the worst endings ever. I really didn't like it. The movie in the middle did kick ass though. I know that this list was probably off the top of you mind but you should widen your movie list. You'll notice that there will be more movies besides ones in the 90's. jk.

I agree about the ending (too mushy for a horror movie) but the rest was good and as for "havent seen any movies in this decade" well last I looked Halloween was made in the 70s and it doesnt really matter what kinda movies I like as long as I like them right? /ubb/smile.gif

Well i got a few things on my mind. This board seems to be getting more and more horror/slasher flick fans each day. In my opinion this is the worst genre of all. You seem to be very similar to a former schmoe by the name of :ahem: SydneyPrescott. In fact, you are suspiciously similar to her. Now i'm not trying to make any accusations or anything but you two are very similar.

As for this whole slasher thing maybe you should stick to the Horror forum on these boards so that you are saved from the constant defamation of character, ridiculing, and blugeoning which is sure to attack you. I'm not gonna be one to take part in that because i believe everyone is entitled to their own opinions and i don't wanna fuck up my clean slate on these boards. I'm just warning you of the inevitable.

One question, why do you think cheesy look-alike slasher flicks are so good?

I asked a similar question on Horror movie questions. Yuo have the same name, live in the same state, have very similar taste, very similar SN on here, very similar E-Mail addy, and well you 2 are just very similar a little TOO similar if you ask me. So are you SidneyPrescott7?

Also I would like to know what is so great about (what I too consider the worst genre, maybe 2nd after the "fart joke" comedies of Adam Sandler, Pauly Shore, early Jim Carrey and the like (Chris Farley an exeption, he was actually funny) all these slasher flicks? Scream 2 and maybe 1 I can see but what is so great about the rest of them?

Yes my bad concerning Halloween. IT may even have been in the 80s. Basically looked at the list and I saw one or two flicks that would make some people's lists and a lot that usually don't make top ten of the year and I had to wonder. To each their own, but if you haven't try checking out other genres or decades. (Horror is my favorite genre but there is a lot more to film than just horror)

actually Scary Movie and Bring It On are even worse, they are 2000 films, so it is VERY current oriented, and slasher oriented.

Quent, you are really the exception to the rule in your age group, (you are like 13 aren't you?) Unforunately most pre-teens/early teens, like those type of movies, do I like most of her list?, no of course not, but give her a break, unless she is older, than that's another story!

I hope we all agree that there is no reason to bash someone just because he likes slasher flicks more than anything else... Sidney wen't away because of other's hostile reaction, so let's not do it again. But I'm also curious why you like slasher flicks so much, Cici? Why is it the best movie genre in the world and why seven greatest films of all time are slashers? I'm really curious to know what in them attracts you so much?

I agree that Cici's posts and personal info are VERY similar to Syd's, but that's not really important. Personally I couldn't care less if someone comes back under a different name... HomerSimpson actually did it once as well, and we all probably agree that he's a cool guy.

every one has different tastes and so she likes slasher movies a lot does it really matter? she doesnt have to like all the movies other people like or older movies. my top ten list wont look like hers but i dont care its her opinion and she can like what she wants. this discussion board is for people that like movies and she shouldnt have to feel uncomfortable and change her name because she got diiferent tastes.
