Kincaid!

He's like the black Joe Pesci, and it's the funniest thing in the world that he has the balls to continuously call Freddy a pussy :p

His rants in Part 3 are fucking hysterical.

Part 2 - Brady (Robert Rusler)
Part 3 - Kincaid
Part 4 - Rick (Andra Jones)
Part 5 - Mark (Joe Seely), even though Seely`s acting was AWFUL

Part 7 - Robert Englund!
FvJ - A three-way tie between Freeburg, Linderman, and Shack.

Kristen (Patricia Arquette, NOT Tuesday Knight!) from Dream Warriors and (I'll probably be stoned for this) Maggie from Freddy's Dead.

Nah, I agree. Maggie was a pretty solid character. She was probably the only thing that Freddy's Dead had going for it.

Exactly. And of all the characters that have gone face-to-face with Freddy, to me Maggie was the strongest. She willingly went inside the dude's mind. I love that scene where she's dressed up in that little girl outfit and she gets all up in his face. No one has really done anything like that.

Whilst KINCAID was hilarious to watch - he was an absolute bell end. He was either extremely confident in his hardness (constantly calling Freddy a pussy) or just fucking stupid. And after his wonderful death in PART 4, I have a feeling it was the latter.

Best character:

RON GRADY (ROBERT RUSLER) - NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET PART 2: FREDDY'S REVENGE.

Hands down.

I'm rewatching part 3 and I think Kinkaid is my favorite now because he sounds exactly like Tony Cox who plays Marcus in Bad Santa and he makes the funniest face ever when he's bending the chair.

without a doubt, the greatest character in a Nightmare film, probobably even better than Freddy

is the smug, dickhead orderly that works at the hosital in part 3: Dream Warriors.

He tries to entice that drugged out girl by sayin something clever like "I got the keys to Heaven baby..I'm talkin pure grade pharmacutecals..a one way ticket to club meth"

She says " I dont do that shit"

He says "oh yeah, then whats this" he points to the needle marks on her arm

"that shit is ancient history"

he replies with "well if your ever in the mood for a history lesson..im your teacher"

YYEEAHAAHA I LOVE IT Smug-ass dickhead characters are always my favorite..i would love to play one in a film

Just so you know that dudes name is Lorenzo. My list in chronological order would be:
A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET:Nancy and Donald Thompson
THE DREAM WARRIORS: Roland Kincaid, Joey Crusel, Dr. Neil Gordon, Kristen Parker, Max, Amanda Krueger
THE DREAM MASTER: Alice and Rick Johnson, Debbie
THE DREAM CHILD: Mark and Mr. Johnson (I liked the turn around of this character from the previous movie despite the fact that he is only in a couple of scenes)
FREDDY vs JASON: Mark
My favorite of all characters would have to be RICK JOHNSON played by ANDRAS JONES. I consider him to be the king of cool pretty much and is one of the very very few characters I ever felt sorry for in a horror movie. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

Nancy Thompson-Langenkamp deserved an Oscar nom for Nightmare 1...

Alice Johnson-awesome in 4, not quite as cool in 5...

Roland Kincaid-hilarious, but still a dumbass...

Worst character by far:

Joey from Parts 3 and 4-oh I can talk in my dreams! Oooo, that's my power!!

Ha ha yeah that's so funny! What a fanny he is! I have lucid dreams that I can control where I generally beat people up, play for Manchester United, star in movies, fly (either by myself or in a car) and nail fit women that I create in my mind whilst I'm dreaming. This guy talks. He's got me beaten! Magnificent. :D

My favorite character overall would have to be Nancy mainly because we go through what she goes through in the first film. We feel for her like no other character in the series because of what shes gone through right before our eyes. A close second would have to be Kincaid. I mean, what a fucking badass! He calls Freddy a pussy! Who other than he has the guts to do that? Of course he bites it in the end but still, he's one badass motherfucker!

Nancy Thompson. Best heroine ever.

Agreed, her return in Part 3 was just superb.. to hear the voice and then have her come on screen... tis strange that Dream Warriors is completely different from the original script for part 3 but it turned out for the better.

Kirstin (Part 3....) the "You're killing us" part just super duper!!! :)

Alice...

her story must continue dammit!

I know... they're looking to do a remake when they could SO easily start over from Alice and Jacob because they're survivors....

I mean Alice could have moved far far away from Springwood but a college road trip could stir things up again... Jacob back on home soil by a freak turn of events we have the cliche dodgy motel or car breakdown...

Or the house on elm street has now been demolished and rebuilt as a lovely little B&B but it's like a roach motel... once you check in.... Bwa hahaha

I dunno... I had an idea for a story years back but it's long gone :(

exactly, thats what most the fans wanna see, Alice and Jacob continuing their fight and still trying to survive after all these years. Lisa Wilcox still looks damn could, how is she not being used for more entries in the series.

I'm like borderline when it comes to remakes, but this is one I'm actually against. I guess once your favorite movie gets the remake treatment, thats when you really see why others are so upset by certain remakes...I wish they'd continue with the original series with straight to DVD sequels at the very least.

g1ng3rsnap9ed
12-20-2008, 02:14 PM
I know!! This is the exact reason why I can't stand remakes anymore, Alice and Jacob's story MUST continue!! They could adapt the comic-series that featured those two returning to Springwood. Get Alice and Jacob returning to Springwood, maybe Jacob has been having nightmares about that old house on Elm Street and Alice takes him back there to help him get over it-they stur up a certain dream-demon, dream mayhem goes down. If we could get Lisa Wilcox and Robert Englund to return for just one more sequel, I would be the happiest Schmoe on the boards. Alas, platinum dunes once again rapes me of my favorite films, this time my all-time favorite. :(

Personally, I would prefer a straight-to-dvd sequel, then they could just try and please the fans of the series that have watched from the original on, not the main-stream audience (Kids 18 and under) that have possibly seen some of the first and that's all. (Also, for the younger Schmoes, no offense to peeps 18 or under, I am 18 or under so that would be awfully hypocritical of me. I'm peeved at the company, not you.)
