I don't think "interconnected" is a genre, but I happen to like all genres. It depends on what kind of film you are in the mood for. The human mind plays to many emotions; which ever one suits you I guess.

But anyway, I'll do dramatic films, if they are really good, and if I want to sit down and care about some characters as the movie takes me through their life.

I love action movies, especially ones that have brains and offer some neat action sequences. John Woo, "I love you man!"(isn't that a quote from something?) His action films leave my jaw on the floor, well, most of them anyway. M:I-2 didn't dazzle me much, being a fan of the original and the series. Sam Peckinpah is great too.

If I'm in the mood to think... Film Noir's are some of my favorites. Double Indemnity, Blade Runner, Fargo... an on and on.

If I'm depressed, which happens often, "Comedy" is my friend. I'll sit down and watch "Airplane" or something. Even though I know the lines, it cracks me up. Black comedies I love too, I guess they could be considered a sub-genre, that works. I love that kind of humor.

Horror movies I see the least of simply because there just isn't many good ones out there. I've seen just about every CLASSIC or GREAT horror flick that comes out, but I don't divulge into seeing them A LOT. Most of them aren't scary anyway.

Crime-I see every once in a while. Not my favorite genre, but it has produced some terrific movies. You know the ones I'm talking about.

There are so many sub-genres that it's hard to distinguish what movie goes where, because, obviously, they can go into one or more places.

*I thought Fargo was more of a Noir then a Crime movie. That could be opinion but it was more of a Noir. Also, Snatch is more of a crime movie, not interconnected--which isn't even a genre. Now I'm repeating myself.
