Disc one covers the life of Lon Chaney Jr, Boris Karloff, and Bela Lugosi.

Since these are some of the main Universal monsters out there, I was curious who has saw this and what was thought of it.

I was entranced by Bela especially. They didnt spare much dirt when digging into his life, and it was fun going through his childhood, then his wives, the way he was dumped on from hollywood, and wearing a cape when he died was touching.

Karloff seemed like a really sweet guy with an obvious love for the genre. Chaney's was less interesting but still a worthy watch nonetheless.

I dont know if it only has an R1 release but I'm betting on it. Grabbed my copy from Netflix, pretty informative on the lives of all the old greats. If you can get a copy (or rent one to test the waters first), I definately recommend it.

I havent seen the second disc yet, but Vincent Price is on there. Netflix has you rent one disc at a time and this is a 2 disc edition.
