Anyone? There are a few out there that aren't too terrible. Like The Breakfast Club and Can't Hardly Wait. Breakfast Club doesn't really count b/c that was before all of the new corny ones. But Can't Hardly Wait always makes me laugh. I know it is corny but it's not as bad as most of the Freddie Prinze ones. I actually like that movie. What else is there?

Well the 80's had the best teen flicks hands down...The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Fast Times at Ridgemont High etc...but the 90's have had a few good ones that didn't suck...

Dazed and Confused
Clueless
Empire Records
Can't Hardly Wait
American Pie
10 Things I Hate About You

I'm not going to include any 80's teen flicks or the obvious good teen flicks like GO , 10 Things I Hate About You and Scream....here are some of my faves:

Cruel Intentions

-pure soap opera trash, sleazy, great acting, sexy stars and witty dialogue.....i loved it

8/10

"O"

-whoa........this movie effected me emotionally, more than any other film this year.....the acting was amazing....

9/10

Legally Blonde

-Reese Witherspoon owned this movie, its fluff but fluff done right

8/10

Yeah, the 80's shouldn't count, especially John Hughes stuff b/c that was before all of the Freddie Prinze esque crap. Movies like Dazed and Confused and Go i don't consider teen movies, they're alot more than just teen flicks. Good examples are movies like Can't Hardly Wait, She's All That, Tomcats, etc.... Basically, mostly crap.

As mentioned several times already, the 80's was a pretty good time for teen movies. As for the more recent additions to the genre, there are a few of note:

Can't Hardly Wait
10 Things I Hate About You
Cruel Intentions
American Pie

Are you talking about teen flicks from teh 80's too ? 'Cause The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles and Ferris Bueller's Day off were all great movie, not only "teen flicks". These movies have never been close to suck.
