i have not seen dodgeball (i probably will not) but man does that movie look like a piece of shit.

well meet the parents was alright becasue he did not seem to be trying to act purposefully goofy.

when i see him doing stuff (zoolander and the previews from dodgeball)...its like he is trying so hard.

I disagree, I find him very funny. I started to really appreciate his talent back around THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY and haven't looked back.

I think the fact that we've been seeing almost too much of him lately is going to turn some people off.

I think he's really funny...he's just starting to get into a mode where he's been playing the same characters. But at the same time, he's more popular playing a funny guy in Dodgeball, then he is playing a darker guy in Duplex.

My favorite movie with him is by far, Zoolander. That movie was considered a classic at my high school, cause every time we watched a movie in class, it was that one. For the longest time people would just be walking around the campus quoting the movie. I love it.

Though I wasn't too impressed with Meet the Parents, I did like There's Something about Mary. I'm not a big Stiller fan either. But being funny is subjective. Not everyone is going to agree with the same people.

I think some of the funniest comedians are Sam Kinison, Rodney Dangerfield, George Carlin, and Bill Cosby. But not everyone thinks so.

Ben Stiller has had his moments: Along Came Polly and Meet the Parents. Starsky and Hutch he was even decent. Never saw Heavyweights so I can't say. He was half decent in Zoolander, and in Dodgeball he was crap. Oh and Duplex and Envy, crap! Royal Tenenbaums, I'll give you some credit because it was artsyish. Overall he has had an inconsistent and rough career. Oh so 4 movies this year, and signed for another 3? FUCK i've had enough of him. Don't take it personal Ben, you do good things, just take a break for once; we and by we i mean i am sick of you.

Adam Sandler is 5 levels below Ben Stiller though; I hate that motherfucker even more.

At times Stiller's great, and at times, well, it's just sad. He can be so off, but he's such a cool guy that I feel bad for him... Kinda like when Mike Myers misfires (Goldmember and Cat/Hat come to mind, tragedies).

Ben Stiller plays one of two characters in every movie he's in:

1. Dowbplays himself as a Neurotic Average Joe (Meet the Parents, Something About Mary, Along Came Polly)

OR

2. Hams it up big time in a goofy role (Dodgeball, Starsky and Hutch, Zoolander)

Yet he still manages to be funny most of the time, except Along Came Polly but that was just total shit altogether, so generally I think he's hilarious and a decent actor.

hes just fucking hilarious. a lot of people obviously find him funny, because dodgeball was like the # 1 movie. and at least its not jack black doing shit, cuz i think jack black is funny sometimes, but mostly not. i absolutely hated school of rock. but i cant think of one ben stiller movie i dont like. he is just funny, he doesnt even have to try. in heavyweights he was great! anyways. yea ben stiller is the man.
