Plot Summary: After messing up a major drug bust in New York City, two African American FBI agents (who are also brothers), Marcus and Kevin Copeland (Shawn and Marlon Wayans), try to impress their boss by volunteering to protect the Wilton Sisters, Tiffany (Dudek) and Brittany (Ward), the heiresses of a hotel empire, from a kidnapping scheme during a short trip from JFK to the Hamptons. Deciding to change the strategy drastically, the brothers use themselves as bait, wearing lots of pale makeup and dresses to pass as the Wilton sisters, while the real sisters are hidden away, safe from harm. Now, the agents just have to convince the world (including their coworkers who are now protecting *them* and the Wiltons' friends and family) that they're actually young, rich, white heiresses.

Never. White Chicks looks beyond awful, and considering the Wayans brothers are all involved, I'm surprised the film didn't recieve an R-rating. I've seen the trailer countless times, and not once did it crack a smile from me. Therefore, I don't think I'll be seeing this in theaters anytime soon.

Saw an interview with Keenan Ivory Wayans yesterday morning, he actually seemed like a sharp, smart fellow. Then again, he's making dumb movies like this, that unfortunatly disqualifies almost everything else.

I will NEVER ever see this movie...after watching the trailer I felt embarrassed for the Wayan brothers.

I read this review and thought it was good enough to post. I didn't know the FBI agents in the movie are supposed to be impersonating real girl's. This makes the movie even more far fetched to me. My question to you is how would the public react if the shoe was on the other foot? White guys acting like black girls?

From the comedic geniuses that brought you Scary Movie AND Scary Movie 2 comes this dumb and unbelievable bit of summer trifle that will look mighty tempting on the New Release shelf when you’ve had a little too much to smoke. But you don’t even need me to tell you that it ain’t worth shelling out 15 bucks at your local mega-plex.
The basic plot: after screwing up one too many busts, two "zany," loose-cannon FBI agents (Marlon and Shawn Wayans) are given the lowly assignment of taking care of a couple of pampered "white chicks." Said "white chicks" are supposed to be attending some do up in the Hamptons. Whacky hijinx ensue and our irreverent FBI agents are forced to impersonate the "white chicks" to much comedic effect.
White Chicks is essentially a very loose re-working of the Marilyn Monroe classic, Some Like It Hot (just comparing the two in any way makes me feel dirty), while simultaneously spoofing the Hilton heiresses, Paris and Nicky ("Tiffany and Brittany Wilton").
The film is disturbing for two key reasons: 1) The make-up is the creepiest fucking thing I ever saw; and 2) When watching the trailer, I assumed that those whacky Wayans’ would be dressing up as random white chicks, but in fact, they're supposed to be impersonating real people and interacting with people that these "white chicks" have know their entire lives.
It’s this incredible leap of logic that makes the movie annoying to watch. It feels like the filmmakers just don’t give a shit, and if they keep tossing enough "look how silly white people are" jokes at the audience…well, we’ll just smile and nod.
I, for one, am not gonna let that damn Wayans clan get away with it. Are you?

Wasn't there a flick in the 80s, where this white guy went to college in black-face? I'm pretty sure, but I can't remember the flick's title.

I saw that one. He's in a Jeep and gets pulled over just because he is black. James Earl Jones is in it as well as an Instuctor.
He became black so he could get a racially based scholarship.
Soul Man (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091991/)
It does beg the question. Are there any scholarships specifically for "whites" only or "asians",etc?
Would that be considered racist to have a whites only scholarship?
Sorry, don't want to derail the thread.

Actually, it's Wilson.
I only know that because Marlon Wayans explained it earlier on The Graham Norton Effect.

"Oh no! We've been cloned!"
I was the only one in the theater who laughed at that part. God, I hate stupid people.
And the movie made more fun of women than white people.

Man oh man, those 2 were the scariest looking women Ive ever seen. Freddy Jackson meets Freddy Krueger!! I thought it was dumb as hell but it made me laugh a few times out of sheer frustration. Even when I was laughing, I was still scared of the faces. Reminded me of looking into the bowl after a late night of drinking and taco bell. Gross.

I love these guys- they are so funny! But Ebert and Roeper called it one of the worst (if not THE worst) movie of the year. Too bad.
