What is your favorite zombie in the Dead Trilogy??
(I'll include the 1990 Night remake because Romero was involved and it stays faithful to the original)

Bub, without a doubt, followed by the "Count Chocula" zombie from Night. He made me laugh.

The obvious choice of Bub aside, I found the way over-acting nurse zombie beeeyatch from Dawn to be a hoot. I also liked the zombie in the opening credits for Day that was missing his lower jaw. The two zombie brat kids in the airport in Dawn were cool too.

I enjoy the zombie in Dawn that continued to take the guys away. First he takes Rogers gun then grabs Peters only to drop the one he stole from Roger and keep Peters. Trading in for a better model in a way. I liked him. :)

The zombie chick in the remake of Night who was holding that baby, that was just freaky. . .

Bub. He was a sweet heart, he really was.

Along with the ballerina and clown zombas from 'Day'. Indeed, zombies come from all walks of life.

Also that really silly nurse zombie from 'Dawn'. Over-acting much? :D

all bubbing aside (since we know he's reigning supreme, there's no point to mention he's my favorite), i'll go with either the Johnny zombie or the little girl zombie from NOTLD....

I think the icon of the Dead films is the immortal Graveyard Zombie from Night.

Well, thank you, I try. But my second choice would be Bub. I'd like to keep him in my apartment and he can eat anyone who comes around I don't like.

What about the bald, rockstar zombie that tries to attack Peter from behind at the airport in Dawn? He's even featured on the cover.

But yeah, the Graveyard Zombies deserves its moment of glory. Afterall, he was the first zombie I had ever seen, that should mean something.

Romero I didnt even think about that, you are correct that the "Bald Nasty" from Dawn of the Dead 1978 is another image that is forever imbeded in the minds of genre fans everywhere!

It is a very popular image indeed...

Another GOOD call! :)

I do not see why everybody likes Steven for Dawn. I thought he was annoying as hell and I thought he should be killed. Your thoughts?

It's all in the actor's performance. The lunging and swaying he did and the facial expression he had were creepy as hell. Plus he is really one of the first zombies to show signs of inteliigence since he remembered where Peter and Fran (his food) were.

Havta agree there Mr-Blonde.

The way that steven moved was great. His twisted leg and the way his gun kinda hung off of his finger. While his jaw moved almost as though trying to speak.

Also as was mentioned the fact that he remembered where Fran and Peter were. The way that as soon as he entered their "apartment" he closed the door just as he normally would. Good stuff.

I guess as a zombie his is pretty good and the facial expressions were ok but I just couldn't get over how unlikable he was as a human.

I have the obvious favorites:

1. Bub - You all saw that coming.
2. Graveyard zombie - NOTLD original
3. Big Daddy - You could clearly see the signs of the intelligent zombie hinted at in DAY were developing more.
4. Uncle Merle - NOTLD remake. He was just funny lookin'

Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.
