That is a great article from ign abot blue ray discs. Tehy diffently look to kick hd's ass in my opnion but i gues well have to see. Either way im gonn have to hold off buying any type of new player because i dont want the loser of the two.

The Blue ray seems more of a home theatre choice while hd loosk to be the cheaper dont give a crap disk, and with home strong home theatre's are going nowadays, i think blue ray would have the edge.

Sounds pretty interesting, I was ready to go with HD-DVD when it comes out but now I don't know. It sounds like now Blue-Ray players will be backward compatible with DVDs. That is a big plus for me, and the reason I was leaning toward HD-DVD. I just wonder if they will offer up conversion on standard DVD to BD resolution with these BD players.
