why the hell is this being made? The reviews for Daredevil were lukewarm for the most part (I personally liked it) and I dont think people liked the movie for Jennifer "Most overrated lookin woman on the planet" Garner's charactor. Now the only movie that is a worse idea is "Jinx" a spin off on Halle Berry's Bond girl charactor.

I really liked Daredevil and am certainly looking forward to this. She was an interesting character, and it should make for a fun flick.

ditto. jennifer garner is a talented actress...she may not be the best-looking one though she is still hot (first time i saw her on tv i thought she looked really weird...it took several episodes of alias to get used to her face for some reason and now i think she's hot) but she is definitely one of the best new actresses out there today. and i enjoyed daredevil, there were (many) problems, but i enjoyed it so i would welcome an Elektra movie.

Its a comic book movie and that sort of thing appeals to my sense of fun...so thats a good enough reason for me to give it a chance and go see it.
I do agree on the Jinx spin-off..terrible idea...

This has about the same appeal that Catwoman does for me.
How many unpopular spin-offs do we need? The only one that might generate any cash is the Wolverine one that's planned.

Two words, one name: Jennifer Garner! She's absolutely one of the most beautiful woman on the planet and even more importantly a great actress. One of my favorites! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED Daredevil! And Garner gave the best performance in the movie IMO! I love the character of Elektra.

I'm sorry, but this woman is not only overrated in the looks department, but she's also not a great actress (I nearly pissed myself laughing at her "Liar!" line in Daredevil, which is a movie that I liked...).

While I don't see this making a lot of money, I would still see it. Garner is a great actress, but we'll have to see if she can carry a movie all by her self....

She did in 13 Going On 30. The movie wasn't a big hit (if that's what you mean) but I loved the movie and thought she was great in it and carried the film herself PERFECTLY! :)

As for me, I'll see this. I liked Daredevil a lot more than some folks I think. And I liked the character of Elecktra. Plus, she has her own stories, etc, unrelated to Daredevil.

Daredevil was a cool flick and all, but I honestly think this is a terrible idea. Still, being the fool that I am, I'd probably go and see this film in theaters anyway. :D

Yes, I have seen Alias. And yes, she does great on that show. I worded my earlier post badly. I just meant that I didn't much care for her performance in Daredevil. It's like saying that you liked Brando in The Godfather, but didn't like him in Dr. Moreau. Different movies, different roles.
She's a good actress and I like her. I will be seeing Elektra.

Daredevil's one of the worst movies I ever saw.
They managed to make the very interesting comic book characters Daredevil and Elektra into immensly boring characters.
Jennifer Garner was terrible in the movie.
Will I see this? Probably, because I'm a masochist

im not seeing it for the looks department, that is a better plus for the film,in having the beautiful jennifer garner in it, but the comic fan in me wants to see this, and I didn't find daredevil THAT bad...MANY flaws, but enjoyable...and minus ben affleck this should be just as good if not better.
